Chef Movie Review : The plot
Roshan Kalra (Saif Ali Khan) is a Michelin-three-star chef in a New York-based luxury Indian restaurant. Saif is such a chef that when a customer does not like his food, Saif gets annoyed and he stabs his nose. While everyone says that Roshan has lost the magic of his own hands, on the other hand Roshan refuses to accept the truth. After all, he is later fired from the job. Meanwhile, Winnie (Shobhit Dhulipal), who is Roshan’s best friend , convinces Roshan to meet his X-Wife Radha (Padmapriya Janakirman) and son Arman alias Ary. Both of them live in Cochin. The rest of the movie revolves around the festive distances between the Saif and his son and the journey of life changing.
Chef Movie Review : Direction
This film is directed by Raja Krishna Menon is no less than a great dish. This movie seems to touch many aspects of life by excusing food. This film shows aspects of life, conflicts of unsuccessful marriage, relationship of broken father’s son and single parenting. This movie of Saif Ali Khan is a Hindi remake of John Fawro’s chef in 2014. On one side we do not get to watch such movies in Bollywood, while the chef has brought something new with a big concept and excellent performance.
Chef Movie Review : Story Writing
Writing seems to be wrong at some point. After fully explaining the whole story, Saif’s food-track running decision has been explained in a hasty manner. The story of Saif’s divorce in the film has been left unmistakably by just one song. And then and through the film, Climax has spoiled the taste of this great taste film.
Chef Movie Review : The performance
Saif is the best in the film. Saif has played beautifully the role of a middle-edged and divorced man. His refreshing performance was found in this film. Actress Padmapriya has played Radha in a very good way. Swar Kamble is also quite talented. At the same time, Chandan Roy Sanyal has made fun and jokes in the film. And yes, seeing the sexy incarnation of the sweet and tasty Milind Soman in this film, all the female fans became crazy. Milind, who is seen only for a while in the film, will keep you on the screen.
Chef Movie Review : Technical aspect
Cinematography of Priya Seth, Kerala has been shown very beautifully. In the case of Behren visuals, the film has been shot. Panikar’s editing could be something better.
Chef Movie Review : Music
Music Of the film is also good, especially “Tere Mere” song by Arman Malik is good to hear.
Chef Movie Review : Verdict
This film by Saif Ali Khan will remind you of George Bernard’s Qoute in which he had said that there is no other love greater than love for food. You will find life’s perfect spices in the chef. Yes, sometimes you will get some salt, but you will not feel less than the best-looking tasty dish.
