Chasing the target of 171-run, Indian openers did not perform well and lost wickets early but the brilliant partnership between Virat Kohli and Manish Pandey sealed an emphatic win.
Virat Kohli (82) and Manish Pandey (51*) starred with the bat as India beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the T20I on Wednesday.
Kohli was out after scoring a 54-ball 82 but Manish Pandey stayed there right till the end and hit his fifty run which leads India to win. This is a great result for Indian cricket team as they return home without tasting defeat. The Virat Kohli-led unit earlier beat Sri Lanka 3-0 and 5-0 in Test and ODI series respectively.
