Nokia is going to launch it’s low cost smartphone in HMD Globle 2019, according to a new filing on the FCC website.
Referenced as the Nokia TA-1124, the unannounced smartphone features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 439 chipset. As announced it’s the first 12nm FinFET , octa-core CPU, 8x ARM Cortex A53 up to 2.0 GHz support up to 8 MP dual camera, Up to 21MP single camera, and can capture Up to 1080p video @30FPS.
The Nokia TA-1124 features dual 13MP and 5MP rear cameras, an 8MP selfi camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 5.99-inch display. The phone is also coming with 3400 to 3500mAh battery and a clean version of Android 9 Pie.
The mos of the specs align with those of the Nokia 3.1 Plus. The major difrences between the Nokia TA-1124 and Nokia 3.1 Plus are the processor and RAM count.That means the Nokia TA-1124 could be a variant of the Nokia 3.1 PLus that makes its way to different regions.
The Nokia TA-1124 could be the Google Android One Programe. The Programe guarantees at least two years of major Android updates and three year of security patches.
At this point, HMD Global might wait until CES in january to announce the phone.
